We will be registering Vernon ISD students for our Summer School program from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., tomorrow, at the Vernon Middle School.
Earlier this month, Vernon ISD sent out letters to parents of students who the district was recommending to attend our Summer School Accelerated Instruction for Reading Language Arts and Math. Members of our Class of 2025, while you are now graduates, here are a few things you still need to remember to do. Payment for graduation pictures is due by June 5. Those graduation photos, along with your official transcript and your diploma may be picked up at the VHS office beginning on June 12. Summer office hours are 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Monday thru Thursday. The office is closed on Fridays.
If you're senior parent and you never saw a graduation photo order envelope, we have extra envelopes available in the office.
Saturday morning, under clear blue skies 109 members of the Vernon High School Class of 2025 walked the stage and received their diploma during the 134th annual VHS Commencement ceremony. The Wilbarger Shared Services Arrangement (WSSA) office held a going-away party for two of their staff members. Diagnostician Angela Bradford is retiring, while Melissa Hearn, also a diagnostician, is leaving for another job. We at Vernon ISD thank them for the years of service to our students and wish them nothing but the best.
